A Foundation We Truly Believe In

First Responders Childrens Foundation

First Responders Children’s Foundation stands beside the children of heroes – offering comfort, hope, and vital support to those who have lost a parent in the line of duty. The Foundation also lends a helping hand to families navigating overwhelming financial hardship after tragedy. Through scholarships, community initiatives, bereavement assistance and supportive programs for First Responder families they help carry forward a legacy of service, care and resilience.

First Responders Children’s Foundation provides support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty as well as families enduring significant financial hardship due to tragic circumstances. They also support and facilitate educational activities and programs created and operated by First Responder organizations whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large.

Project Pink

Life-Assist started Project Pink in response to the profound loss of one of our own. Customer Care Manager, Debbie Lang lost her battle with metastatic breast cancer in 2020 after 20+ years with Life-Assist. Debbie’s charity of choice, METAvivor, is an organization dedicated to research, support, and raising awareness for those with metastatic breast cancer. We honor her by donating a portion of all Project Pink proceeds to this organization each year.

Where firefighters go to connect with their families

The Firehouse Family

The Firehouse Family

The Firehouse Family strives to provide resources to promote positive mental health through the whole family approach, offering a range of services, including family retreats, group outings, and other brain healthy exercises. These efforts help firefighters address the emotional and psychological toll of their work, reduce stigma around mental health, and ultimately ensure they can continue to serve their communities with strength and resilience.
