Demand Valves

Demand Valves

The LSP and Elder Demand Valves can be used with a mask, endotracheal tube or tracheotomy tube.

  • The breathing patient’s inspiratory effort triggers the valve from a non-flow state to a flowing state. The greater the inspiratory effort, the higher the flow. When inspiratory effort stops, the flow stops.
  • The non-rebreathing valve permits it to be used as a resuscitator in combination with a manually operated button on the top of the valve.
  • The Elder Demand Valve functions like the LSP Demand Valve but is made of high impact plastic.
