Q

Why are the Dick Medical Biothane Restraints so hard to feed through the ends? Do they need a lubricant?

Anonymous- On Thursday, 20 April 2023

A

Extreme heat and humidity can effect Dick Medical Biothane Restraints at times. Per the manufacturer, this effect can be minimized by spraying a small dab of silicone on the center bar of the buckle; however, we strongly recommend that you reference local protocols prior to modifying any equipment being used.
